Let’s talk about maternal gatekeeping. It’s not about weaponised incompetence, or another thing women are doing wrong. It’s what happens as a result of society telling that women are mother’s and father’s are providers. If we want to parent equally, we need to understand how we’re influenced by societal beliefs and assumptions.
